Blandemar

This project for an active couple is an ambitious balance of site and program tucked away in the hills of central Virginia. The site presented a few key challenges that limited the overall area available for the new build site. To accommodate those limitations we crafted a sequence of spaces that flow along the ridge line a the hill at the heart of the site. The spaces within the interlocking volumes are configured for internal life while always maintaining a strong visual and physical connection to the hardwood forest that surrounds the home.
